این پرسشنامه توسط جونز و نلسون در سال 1996 ساخته شده است.

هدف از ساخت این پرسشنامه بررسی انتظارات افراد از ازدواج است.

این پرسشنامه دارای 40 سوال می باشد.

شاید بتوان از ازدواج به عنوان یک دغدغه ذهنی برای افراد مجرد نام برد. عموما افراد مجرد در مورد ازدواج کردن یا نکردن، اتفاقاتی که ممکن است در آینده و زندگی مشترک برای آنان روی دهد، افکار مختلفی دارند. آن ها ممکن است پیامد ها و نتایج ازدواج کردن را بارها مورد بررسی و ارزیابی قرار دهند و در این خصوص نگرش و انتظارات متفاوتی داشته باشند.

انتظار از ازدواج چیست؟

انتظار از ازدواج به عنوان یک مولفه مهم در علم روان شناسی مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفته است. آیا تا به حال از خودتان پرسیده اید در مورد ازدواج و انتخاب همسر، چه معیارهایی دارید؟ انتظار شما از ازدواج چیست؟ آیا انتظارات شما مثبت است؟ منفی است؟
فینچام در سال 2006 طبق مطالعه ای که بر مولفه انتظار از ازدواج داشته است، این متغیر را اینگونه تعریف می کند: زمانی که افراد در مورد انتظار از ازدواج صحبت می کنند، میزان خشنودی یا ناخوشنودی از ازدواج، میزان رضایت و نارضایتی از آن، احتمال به وجود آمدن مشکلات در رابطه و در نهایت رخ دادن طلاق در ازدواج برای خودشان را مد نظر قرار می دهند. انتظارات زنان و مردان از ازدواج با یکدیگر متفاوت است. یک راهکاری که به دختران و پسران در شرف ازدواج پیشنهاد می شود، مراجعه به روان شناس قبل از ازدواج است. صحبت کردن در مورد علایق و سلایق، انتظارات و مشاوره از یک فرد آگاه یک راهکار مهم برای رسیدن به موفقیت در ازدواج است.

از جمله انتظاراتی که از ازدواج وجود دارد و در زنان و مردان مشترک است، انتظار داشتن یک رابطه احساسی، حمایتی و جنسی عالی است. برخورداری از حمایت، تلاش برای پیشرفت یک دیگر، تحت مراقبت و محافظت قرار گرفتن، احترام گذاشتن مردان به حقوق زنان و برابری حق زن و مرد، هماهنگ بودن در تربیت فرزندان، داشتن استقلال مالی، عدم محدودیت، احترام به حریم خصوصی، داشتن گوش شنوا برای حرف ها و درد دل های همسر، داشتن یک رابطه صمیمانه بر پایه رفاقت، ارزش گذاری و احترام به همسر از جمله انتظارات افراد از ازدواج است. هرچه انتظاراتی که فرد از ازدواج دارد واقع بینانه تر باشد و در نهایت این انتظارات برآورده شوند، فرد احساس رضایت و شادکامی بیشتری از زندگی زناشویی خواهد داشت. هرچه رضایت بیشتر باشد، کیفیت زندگی بالاتر می رود.
