Harter HEMS academic motivation test

Harter’s academic motivation test is widely used in schools and shows individual differences in the dimensions of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Leper et al. (2005) believe that Harter’s academic motivation test is a very suitable tool that can show the evolutionary trends of motivation.

Harter’s original test has 18 questions, but after revision and modification by Lepper et al. (2005), it consists of 33 questions, which has a very high validity.
